Recently we’ve been discussing the referee appointments given to Celtic over the years.
Another cracker was Les Mottram for the 1995 Scottish Cup Final between Celtic and Airdrieonians.
Les Mottram was a local Airdrie lad who went to Airdrie Academy and then he was on the books of Airdrieonians for a couple of years before taking up refereeing.
Surely with all the referees the Scottish Football Authorities could’ve picked for a showpiece National Cup Final, why pick Mottram?

Absolute joke. The sooner we leave this cespool of corruption, the happier I will be.

NAW,
You mentioned earlier we have complained about certain referee appointments that don’t make sense, when Celtic have won and not only when we are defeated.
This is another example because Celtic beat Airdrie to win the Scottish Cup in 1995.
But these unexplained appointments have happened for generations and they will continue to happen with the current Lanarkshire referee system in place.
