I was reading that Eddie Howe, if he becomes manager, will target Bournemouth captain Steve Cook as his first transfer, then it goes onto say that Cook was a defensive warrior for Howe during the Cherries rise to the top flight, but I thought Bournemouth had problems defensively, mmmmm, don't watch much EPL, so don't know if he'd be good or bad.

Heard the same thing about Shane Duffy and that didn't work out too well. I know the EPL players treat Scottish football with contempt, but the pace and style of the game up here has caused problems for a good few making the move to the SPL (and European competition) .

just because it was described that when it was said about duffy being old school no nonsense ch doesn't mean when somebody describes another ch as that, that its going to turn out the same.

Always thought cook was decent. Played in an attacking team so goals they conceded can't really be compared to backs to the wall Brighton. Would be a good addition but prob just paper talk.
