With Brown now confirmed as leaving at the end of the season, I had a look at the 1st team squad, who has left already, who will probably leave in the summer, I've had a stab at the potential fees that could be brought in and wages saved.

I’ve took off £40 million from your predicted valuations.
Frimpong and Kouassi are already gone and fair enough that £12 million is already in the kitty.
A few of those players will soon be entering the last year of their contracts.
I’ve took £5 million off Edouard, Ajer and Christie and I’ve took £7 million off Ntcham.
I’ve also took £5 million off Jullian.
I don’t think Celtic will get our money back on Shved.
But it will still leave Celtic with at least £45 million to help rebuild.

I think your estimate is fairly likely buzz. The real struggle will be keeping the club's identity during such wholesale change.

Won't get a tenner for Ntcham never mind 10 million. Lots of changes next season its already been mentioned but DOF/ recruitment is going to be vital in the summer.

Next season was always going to be a big turnover with transfers.
A few players contracts were finishing at the same time.
We will need a new leader on the park.
Preferably a big strong CB who can organise a defence.
The Scottish players I would take a chance on are Ferguson of Aberdeen and Nesbitt of Hibs.
I would stay away from centre backs Gallagher and Porteous because they’re nowhere near good enough.

I'd say closer to 50M but the point is a good one, cash and wages is a lfair chuck of change.
Our wage bill has been inflated for a few years and there's players out there that can come in and do a good job without costing the earth.

Agreed Buzz, Ferguson is capable. I'd also be encouraging a shopping trip to Scandinavia and Eastern Europe for players.

The big problem Celtic might have with transfers is the brexit problems. Going to be a lot harder with players from Europe getting deals done. Maybe a reason a lot more players been linked at are already UK bases. Just a thought.
