I think most of us can agree a new goalkeeper is needed ASAP. Really think board should try sign orjan nyland on a free transfer. Quality goalkeeper, just couldn't get back in Aston Villa team after injury.

{Ed007's Note - I don't agree we need a new GK and if we did it wouldn't be someone that had an operation on their back last month and was Villa's 3rd choice before he left.

I don't think either goalie is that bad, but neither are they that good. A good keeper often turns one point into three or zero into one. FF did that for us and they had Goram that did it often. We thought Barkas for the money would do it, but he won't. He may settle in a bit but good goalies save shots regardless of country, culture or who's in front of them, Barkas simply doesn't.

I doubt even Allison could settle in to a new team/ country if that's how his teammates are defending in front of him. The magnitude of the season doesn't help either.

Goran or Forster wouldn't have made any difference today. Frimpong switched off as usual. Mist goals come from our right side.
