While we were absolutely abysmal in every area of the park and deserved nothing from the game the single decision to play the much maligned Taylor and a back four could have been enough to avoid defeat in a game where we were already missing key players.

A draw would have been no big deal under the C.V. circumstances. Defeat for the third consecutive time however must put the same doubt in the players mind as is does in mine.

Does NL have the man management abilities to turn the players around after a physiologically damaging loss? Unsure.

We have for me the better players in practically every position but that won’t guarantee the 10. For me they have the advantage in the dugout not to the same extent but similar to what was the case when the rodent was in ours.

They have been the better team in the last 3 games but they have only won 2 consecutive games against us.
I agree and can’t believe he never played a back 4 with the players he had available on Saturday.
Lenny’s excuse was they hadn’t trained and planned for playing a flat back 4.
Every player has grew up playing 4 at the back since they first started kicking a ball as a youngster.
Why would you need to train playing a back 4.Poor excuse.
The last time Celtic deserved to beat them was last September when we played a 4-5-1 formation and they never had a decent chance in the whole game.
I just can’t believe the way Lenny set up a weakened team.
It was lambs to the slaughter.

They clearly want to play for their manager and are in a very settled and consistent system - then there's us.
If we don't sort it out one way or another we will be very sorry.

JFP1888 Taylor didn’t even need to be on the park. More worrying for me is Lennon not being tactical enough to see things and make a change. I get you’re point with Taylor but all we had to do was move Laxalt back to left back and shift the other 3 over so ajer became right back with Duffy and welsh in the middle! I would then have taken ntcham off and put griffiths or ajeti on much earlier when still only 1-0! Going to the 4-4-2 would have stopped the space down the wings for rangers and nullified the way they play and main threat! Making them possibly having to change how they attack might have given us more impotence and a foot hold of the game for spells! For me it’s simple changes like this I don’t understand Lennon can’t see and won’t make!

At the end of the day Lennon should not be the manager I like Lenny as a man But I am starting to blame the board for letting things get to this point. We as a club should still be light years in front off Sevco we have by far the better squad and players but they have made us look like amateurs last 3 games How the board can't see this is really bewildering to me.

Jicer81 I’m no tactical genius but starting with or reverting to a back four after 15 minutes was as obvious as it that Boris and his uncle Donald are nuts even to me.

4-5-1 is the formation to play against them no question, it denies them space in the wide area's and we control the centre of the pitch. We play form players in their usual positions working for each other and I don't think we would have many problems, I think playing this position also gives you opportunity to attack with numbers when required. Solid when everyone keeps their shape and in a flash causing problems in attack.

Games are 99% of the time won by teams who have control of the centre of the pitch.

Celtic also played that system in Rome.
We counter attacked in big numbers and caused them plenty of problems.

Buzz Bomb I think it is the way forward for teams of a higher standard for us, it is essentially the formation they use against us also. Defense to attack in a flash, it suits the personnel we have better I think 👍.
