Just a quick question to see everyones thoughts, would you take a punt on scott McKenna?

For me personally I think he's been inconsistent and average at best but I do think he could be developed into a proper player with the right guys around him, if he was available for a decent fee I think he's worth the gamble and would make a decent backup before eventually being a first team regular.

He still has 3 years on his contract and with Aberdeen knocking back £5 million last season, I don’t see the value in buying him for a big transfer fee.
I would pay £3 million tops because he is only 23 years old and he will improve.
I like the fact he is left footed because Celtic are badly needing a left sided CB.
He actually started as a left back in the Aberdeen youths before moving to CB.

One plus buzz is the Aberdeen need money and his stock has dropped a bit. 3 mill he'd be worth a punt but is a wee bit injury prone.

McKenna not for me I am sure we could get far better for the money he would cost.

Haven't been impressed with him so far as we have scored a good few against the sheep in recent times.

Before I got to know him I thought he looked decent.
After I got to know him - no chance.

If NL REALLY wants him - £4m and a couple of loans.
