It’s good Hibs played extra time before we play them on Saturday. Young Porteous will be suspended for the game after getting a straight red card for dangerous play.
Hibs will get a lift from going through tonight but Celtic should still be too strong.

We will not lose a game before the international break. The Lennon out mob are quieter every game now. Before the window shut there was mass panic and hysteria. Look at the squad we have now. A mixture of experience and youth playing free flowing football.

I didn't want lennon to get the job I didn't think he was good enough for it. But fair play to him he has proved me wrong and I can hold my hands up when I am wrong. He has certainly impressed me. So well done lennon keep up the good work.

Right On Pud, and while I appreciate that this forum is open to all commentators it is noticeable that the screaming and shouting brigade have mellowed, most of them will not post again this season as we only see them when they perceive that something can go wrong.
I really don’t get if they are Celtic fans or just keyboard warriors.

I’ll be the first to admit Lennie wasn’t my original choice to take over, the end of last season was stuffy football and like others I thought he was the cheap option. Apart from the hole Cluj game I have been really impressed. For the first time in a while we are showing everyone the gulf in standard of squad we have to everyone else. Scoring an average of three goals a game this season is great considering the amount of games we have played already.

The squad look happy, and where we were crying out for players in certain positions we now seem to have two strong ones for each . Keeping the squad happy will be important but bringing in players for various games, now that Lennie knows they don’t necessarily weaken us will stand us in good stead. It will be interesting next week to see how much we have improved when we face Cluj at home. Well done to the squad and manager though so far.

Lennon was never my first choice of managers and I must admit that I had concerns that the professionalism we had built up over the last 5 seasons may be at risk.

However, the fact our board appointed Kennedy and Duff to work with Lennon has helped ensure that the professionalism remains intact.

I would also like to point out that I was never one of the fans screaming for his head, not even after the Cluj defeat.

Anyway, credit were it is due and Lennon, his back room team and the players have been fantastic this season, apart from one blip. In fact, I would go as far to say that he has brought the thunder back and put us in a great position for 9 in a row.

I think that was everyone's concern that Lennon would undo the hard work of previous managers, we knew he had a better eye for a player than Rodgers ( wouldn't be hard) . He has certainly matured as a manager but there is a long way to go before people can say " he's proved the doubters wrong"👍.

We are playing well but Lennon failed to get us into the champions league. Was his tactics that cost us. Time will tell if it's a good appointment.

DRA1967, rodgers didn't get us to champions league last time either but i don't remember anyone wanting him out, its ironic for all of the people who didn't want lennon can't seem to name who should have got the job either. He is doing well so far and we are better to watch than under judas with his passing about at the back crap.
