first time poster. Not someone I have see or heard being linked with Celtic but Michael essien is now on a free transfer and training with Chelsea. At 33 he would give experience and a solid defensive midfielder.

The issue he has only played about 30 games in the last 3 years, he certainly was class in his time but not sure if he still has the legs for his position.

I know Kolo had played similar amount of games but its a very different position when your a CM with lack of legs (ask Joey B hahahaha)

If he could prove his fitness would be class signing though.
