Ed is there any truth in the rumours about kolo toure? He's much better than boyata and ambrose by has lost a step but reads a game well!

He's. Better than any cb at our club remember he played for Liverpool last season and threw they're europa league campaign 35 yes but Larsson was 36 at Manu lubo 33 when he sign for us very experienced player would love him to sign for a year or two.

I've been bangin on about an experienced CB who has played at top level for a while. So I'd rather have Kolo than nobody like that at all. Could certainly do a job at home and abroad for a couple seasons.

I think sviachenko will be our number 1 CB even if we sign toure! He's as leader and has a lot of presence for his height!

I think it would be a smart move to sign Kolo. Brings much needed big game experience and leadership qualities. I'd feel a lot more confident about the qualifiers with him and Erik at the back rather than Mulgrew, Boyata or Ambrose! You think we might see a new signing by the end of the week Ed?

Might be a long stop gap then ED! lol. will we ever see the big man being fit on a regular basis! So there's truth in this toure story ED? Thought it mite have just been BS! Keep hearing this Shane Duffy being mentioned to mate, u heard anything?

{Ed007's Note - They're both possibilities but as far as I know there's been no official approach to Blackburn for Duffy and all we are is one of clubs who are interested in Toure but there's been no offer made to him yet either}

I did indeed Ed and I thought he was tremendous towards the end of the season, especially in the Europa League. You don't have a CV like his unless you are a good player. I think he's exactly what we need.
