Surely after recent poor performances and all the fans not attending our games at home, tomorrow is the perfect opportunity for Celtic, Deila and the board to reignite our passion.
If the boy Roberts is as exciting as everyone says, then play him tomorrow, tell the fans in advance and maybe add a few thousand on to the gate.
I would even have young Christie and maybe Allan in the squad also, maybe on the bench.

Tim we need to do something to get interest back. Unles X we play Christie, Roberts, Allen now then we are going to go into CL qualifiers with the same side by and large that have failed over the last 2 seasons. I don't know if Allen and Christie and Roberts will make the difference but we will never know unless we start giving them game time. We know there won't be anyone signed before CL qualifiers as that is the same every season so what have we git to lose?

Too many of the 'regulars' have been below par or ineffective all season [especially the goalie] and they play every week regardless.
I agree it's important to at least try these players in competitive league games - and not just easy cup ties - to see if they can make an improvement on the performances and entertainment levels.
I agree that we still do not seem prepared for any level of European football at present and it won't just magically fall into place in July with most of the current under-performers.

Said a couple of seasons ago that if we continue to operate the way we are, qualifying for the CL will only get harder and harder. Now we're at a point where we're pinning our hopes on the aforementioned players? Roberts, from what I've seen will actually improve the side. Allan? No. Christie, in a season or two I'd say yes. Reading Davie Hay commenting on Ajer. Although a promising project, just that. We need to sign furst team experienced players now, as well as develop such projects. Because such projects if successful tend not to stick around for too long.

Jim if you think that we signed Carlton Cole after watching him for 6 weeks. Why did we bother? The entire recruitment method is total total madness. No matter what posters say Ronnie Delia has a big day in this process. He now has 22 midfielders, 3 strikers. The only proven striker being Griffiths. This buy sell policy is so wrong. We get an opportunity at CL football every year. What is the problem in spending more and buying players who can get us into CL group stage. We must be the only team in Europe guaranteed a shot at CL football every season. So what do we do. We buy crap players and then talk about the lack of money in our league. Well we are missing out on £20 mill a year due to the inability of PL and RD to work out the formula for success. It's a joke.

100% agree there jonny. Our position is pretty unique with the position were in as you say. I just think of mid table teams in bigger leagues, would they dare touch Carlton Cole whilst claiming to be a CL club. Their Chief Exec would get laughed out of town.

Would love to see us give it a go with Baily Janko, Jozo, Chenko, Tierney Roberts, Bitton, Rogic, Christie with LG up front- if 451 isn't gonnae change. Have said before that Brown's best days are behind him IMO. If we're looking to the future, that would be a good start for me, as has been said our first picks have been chronically rotten on bigger stage for a whlie. Letting this unit settle and adding to it in Summer would be a good option for me.
