Approx £9.8m spent last season on total and utter dross. Can think of 5 far better players that would cost around the same yet do a far better job and possibly of kept us in CL!

Its a lot of money to spend, especially with lower TV revenue than most countries.

No matter what way you look at it, lennon identified these players as good enough to play for celtic! Cheers Neil for mess you have left us in! Absolute arrogance to slate mowbray when he took over!

What are you on DN. You've lost the plot totally. How many of those players did Lennon even want let alone play regularly? . your hate for lennon far outshines any knowledge you have of football or experienced European managers

If Lennon was still manager, far from perfect yes, you could be sure we would be in the next round of Cl.

As usual you lookin in the wrong place DN, Griffiths and Johannsen are hardly a waste of money they have contributed.Funny how you only mention the poor 1s, what about all the money Lennon made the club with his transfers? You ran away when it was proved he was well in the black with them. And possibly Forster and VVD leaving would get another 15m at least but that wudnt count would it lol.

How on earth anyone can say johansson has been a success bewilders me as does people raving about Biton the only player to come out of last night with any credit would be Scott brown and I'm not his biggest fan.
Ronny deila should be replaced with Stevie Clark which would be a huge embarrassment but show a willingness to admit mistakes particularly this summer, ronny has no connection to celtic so I don't have much sympathy for him let him go and build his super system at brondby or something.

Well DN 30 football manager extraordinaire, who are these 5 players YOU assume are better player's, what, you can't name them because someone else has not named any. Even now with Lenny away all you do is denigrate the man, did we not make the league stage's last year, did he not take us to the last sixteen. Ive always maintained solution.stop cutting corners when appointing managers. Mowbray and lennon should never have got anywhere near managers post.

2. Although always thought MON was a good manager, I would have to say in my own opinion STRACHAN based on cup successes (thats what you measure the success of manager on not europe run).

3. Apart from forster and VVD who in right mind would sign any of lennons other signings?

4. Discussed this in depth before, lennon did not sign KI and McGeady totalling approx £15m so how can these 2 transfers be used to credit lennon as making £ off his own signings?

At least I voice my concerns and don't sit back and say nothing about the state of affairs at celtic just now. Would of been interesting to of heard your thoughts back in 1994.

You go on about how great a manager lennon was and his good signings like wanyama etc. yet when it comes to likes of pukki etc, all of a sudden its a lawell signing! Come on are you for real? Spoilt for choice, there has been that many occasions! My personal favourites are-
accusing me of not having my own opinion when its clearly evident anything I post, is in a manner to debate my point (sorry cause its not same opinion as yours i'm automatically wrong)

stating about getting pi$$ taken out me (again sorry I was under the impression that this was a banter page and it was all part of the fun)

Coming up with a pi$$ poor attempt to discredit 5 suggestions as alternative transfers cause others share same opinion (btw they 5 players are far better than pukki etc and they can all be found on our own doorstep. Used them as example of how bad these signings are)
