Obviously the appointment of Ronny Deila isn't the huge name a lot of us wanted and some expected but I'm delighted we didn't go down the Henrik Larsson route, that was a disaster waiting to happen, the weight of expectation would have been unbearable. I'm willing to give the new man every chance to prove himself and he certainly seems to have a set plan and style of how he wants his teams to play, something we were definitely lacking under Lennon.

Speaking of Lennon, he really hasn't covered himself in glory today and I think he has twigged that the club were already looking to replace him this summer, does he really expect us to believe that someone who was supposedly going to be his assistant is now seen as the best candidate for the manager's job?

So Lennon and his ego seem to think he was that good a manager our new one was only good enough to be his assistant.

What happened to him having input on who was to replace him? Considering he has been in Portugal on holiday since he left Celtic Park two weeks ago I'm not buying that, he should have came out and backed Ronny Deila rather than speak of his disappointment that Keane didn't want the job, he knows a lot of supporters still hang on his every word and I don't think he should be talking Deila down when he hadn't even been announced yet.

Hopefully Deila gets the backing of the board and on-field improvements will unite the support behind the team. We all know how the synergy between the club, the team and the fans can create something special at Celtic.

So welcome to THE greatest football club in the world Mr Deila - I have a feeling that this could be the start of a beautiful friendship.

As long as he wins the treble gets to the last 8 of CL, plays free flowing attacking football, gives youth a chance makes great signings, all the things the dastardly Lennon didn't do!

Ha ha Mallybhoy, you're right though, to satisfy some on here that's the least he'll have to do

I think the last 8 of the CL is a bit much Mally but it's refreshing to see more and more fans have started admitting to Lennon's many blunders and failures as manager. It's just a pity they couldn't do it while he was here, we might have some more trophies in the cabinet and more money in the bank or invested in the team.

But thankfully there's no longer any need to worry about it, no doubt it's not the last we've heard from Lennon and his ego about Celtic and what they should be doing but he's not our problem any longer, we've finally moved on.

Who knows, we might actually get the club back to where it belongs and fans might get the club and team they so rightly deserve.

Have read what Lennon has said Che and can't really see where he has been disrespectful to anyone.

It was bad enough giving it to Lennon when he was our Manager. Lennon is now past tense, we should move on and support Our new Manager.
