Morning Ed, hope your well. I know we were interested in the winger from lazio which looks to be dead now, but in your opinion would you take Ben doak back? Would that be a possibility? Also I get you get fed up being asked about potential signings, but what business do you expect done between now and tomorrow night mate? Cheers Ed.

{Ed007's Note - As far as I know the Engels deal is done and apparently the hold up has been money the player is due from Augsburg, they wanted Celtic to pay that in exchange for a lesser sell on percentage.
The Auston Tufty deal has also been completed or is just being finalised. Apart from those two I expect another midfielder (McCowan/Alvyn Sanches?) and a winger on loan.
I still wouldn't be surprised to see another striker brought in once Rodgers sees who's available as the window gets ready to "slam shut".
Celtic and Leicester have both spoken to Liverpool about taking Doak on loan but it would a no from me, apart from him buggering off he isn't going to improve our squad and I'd hope we are looking at a higher level of player than him.}

I wouldn't be adverse to Engles ? and mccowan who for me could definitely do a job and would only get better. we definitely need a cb so fingers crossed eds right and we can get them over the line. and we can all get back to normal especially ed.
