I can remember Celtic lost 5-1 against a Swiss team in the early 90s for our worst ever European defeat at that time.
I went to the game at St. Mirren a few days later and Celtic beat them 5-0.

I thought my bet was down.
I’m at the opposite end and I didn’t know the Aberdeen keeper was booked.
I was moaning to my son that I should’ve stuck to my usual bet of 3 Celtic goals and 8 Celtic corners.

I had the programme for that match for years because my dad’s pal gave me it.
I’m not sure if it’s still in my mum’s house somewhere.

I can remember twins from somewhere like Egypt running riot against us in that heavy defeat.

I didn’t normally go to the jungle but I was in there for the return match.
The Celtic fans were still in good voice and were optimistic.
But then Nicholas put an early penalty over the bar.

Celtic still had enough good chances to score 10 that night but yet we only won 1-0.

That wouldn’t put me off my chocolate ?.
