Couple of names being thrown about are

Tete from Shaktar Donetsk. Apparently we have put an offer in and it's with the player, Donetsk accepted.

Jashari, this one's been floating about for a while but could be the hard tackling midfielder we are looking for. Also has offers from Bundesliga.
