Clubs wouldn't be doing their jobs properly if they weren't monitoring the transfer market right up until the last hours of the window, especially as we're still looking to ship a few bodies out. I'm still harbouring small hopes that we'll maybe pull off a bit of a statement signing out of nowhere.

What do you class as a statement transfer, CCV and Jota not statement enough. One more would be nice but it has been a good window so far, a lot better than we have seen before. We have to look for uncut diamonds and Ange has been good at doing this so far, I have faith in him.

Going by Ange's comments, he obviously has some areas in mind. I still think an out and out number 6 would be good. We wanted Souza who seemed to tick all the boxes. I wouldn't class Mooy as a like for like of that profile so there could possibly be a space for one more. Bearing in mind we've lost Rogic, Bitton and Soro who made over 100 appearances last season.

Kev, I see Mooy as a squad player, definitely not a long term answer for the position. If he can re-create his previous best form at Celtic then that would be great plus it keeps him in the frame for the World Cup finals. HH.
