Maybe his agent was negotiating whilst the medical was going on, maybe it wasn't about money they couldn't agree, maybe it was a problem with the loan to buy contract, maybe Julien might have wanted guaranteed game time....

It was the Celtic Star website that had a heading insinuating that Jullien failed his medical.
The Scottish media are bad enough with incorrect negative headlines without the “Celtic Star” doing the same.

Sure I'd seen it said on here before that wages are usually agreed in advance? But that's a whole lot of other maybes.

{Ed007's Note - There's a general chat with agents to see if they are in the same ball park but there's still negotiations to finalise things and iron out all the finer details.
I doubt CCV & Jota have signed deals at the levels agreed to last summer in their loan option.
Say an agent tells a club his client is on £15k a week and he'll take a bit of a drop to get back playing every week, so they get together and that bit of a drop could be "only" £1k the agent means but the buying club are only offering £12k.
Maybe also Julien couldn't agree terms because of the percentage of his wages Celtic are prepared to pay.}
