It’s a good lineup.
My biggest fear for the rest of the season is running out of strikers AGAIN.
I’m gutted that Celtic are once again down to only one striker.
I mentioned playing both on Thursday was a mistake especially with all the other changes and the surface the players were playing on.
We had to wrap our only 2 strikers in cotton wool, the best way we could and recently Ange hasn’t done this.
Ange has only played one striker up front but he’s continually played our only back up striker wide and I felt this was a mistake waiting to happen.
And here we are, with only One striker available once again.

Why do we have 4 CM's on the bench? Surely we could have gave Dawson or Doak a place on the bench?

Maeda through the middle is his correct position. Same as kyogo when they are on the outside they are in effective. As long as jota and Abada don't get to greedy and control there passes we should dominate.

I agree SOS-BHOY.
We don’t know why Giakoumakis isn’t included and when he was made unavailable.
But if a striker ( Dawson ) was on the bench against St. Mirren we might’ve won because Abada has shown he’s only effective when he is part of 2 up front, similar to the St. Johnstone match.
Abada playing up front on his own against 3 St. Mirren central defenders, he could’ve played all night and not scored.

Buzz if Maeda goes off injured I would still put Abada through the middle. But we have no other options if Abada has any issues. Mccarthy can't et a game to save him self. It is a complete waste of a place on the bench.

That’s good Giakoumakis is back on Wednesday and he was out today with an sickness.
Celtic need Giakoumakis and Maeda to bang the goals in, until wee Kyogo is back.

Well that game was poor we had no cutting edge in the final 3rd a few guys are over reaching in my work and says than Ange should be sacked lol we are in a building process atm and further ahead than I thought we would be just now.
