Moffat and Dawson might be in squad on Sunday, not involved in B game, unless both are injured of course.

Yes it looks like young Moffat in particular might get some game time tomorrow.
Which begs the question from Ange why did he not play him on Thursday I STEAD of Kyogo, in this particular instance our manager made a big boo boo.

Tim I don’t think anyone envisaged the first injury to Ajeti. Or even to Kyogo.

One thing I do note is the increase in hamstring injuries, players seem fit but I think hamstring is down to muscle overuse? Probably due to the high press and intensity ange plays at but that shows we need the depth.

I was listening to a Celtic podcast the other day and it was mentioned about the amount of hamstring problems we have and it was mentioned that there is a programme that most clubs use to monitor players fitness and it tells the club IF the player in question is on a high risk off getting a hamstring injury and it was asking IF Celtic were using this programme or can understand how it works. Because we have more hamstring injuries than any other club twice as much say Sevco has. I thought it was just down to the style we play and train but IF there is some sort of monitor that can pick up if a player has a high risk off getting a hamstring we should use it or learn to use it correctly to stop our players pulling up during a game and out for weeks on end.

{Ed007's Note - I said when Ange came in that I expected us to pick up a lot of niggling injuries because of the changing of the intensity of training/playing. I seriously doubt there's any program that can specifically predict hamstring injuries but there is sports science programs that will tell you a player isn't at the peak of his physicality and could be more prone to any injury, which is really common sense imo. If a player is training hard and playing as many games as us then there is going to be injuries - it comes down to squad depth and squad rotation to manage these situations.
According to Ange, Kyogo was always going to come on the other night.

"Obviously we were prepared to give Kyogo a bit less time tonight but with Albian also getting a hamstring, we’re just going through a bit of a rough trot which never seems to end. But we’ll cope. We’ve got a few injuries but the amount of games we’re playing, it’s just ridiculous, to be fair.
We don’t have the squad to cope with that at the moment. Luckily tonight we got some 90 minutes into players who will help us moving forward."

Asked if he would temper the training and playing style to protect his players from injury, Ange added: "No, it’s not possible. It’s a by-product of the team we want to be and it’s part of the process.
I’ve been through it a number of times with teams I’ve taken over and the initial process is always difficult. Games are coming thick and fast, but that’s the level we want to be at."

ED007 I read Celtic through their new Sports science guy have already teamed up with a company that are pioneering a new way of treating hamstring and other muscle related injuries by using a bi product of termeric the spice to reduce inflammation, honest this seems to work.

{Ed007's Note - Turmeric (the curcumin in it) has many properties that aid our health in general, Timbo, everything from heart disease to keeping your mind sharp.
The Turmeric Co. that we entered into a partnership was founded by ex-Wales international Hal Robson-Kanu that we were linked with a few years ago.}
