Rubin Kazan, Bordeaux, Everton, Crystal Palace all getting in on the bidding war for Eddy now. While it'll make a lot of fans wring their hands it makes me sad. For me, he's the best striker we've had since Hooper - edging out Dembele purely for longevity - and it's become all-too-common for fans of my generation to only be able to enjoy a player for a brief period of time and wonder what could have been if we kept the gang together. He's not been the Eddy we know he can be lately so it's definitely the right time for him to move on so he goes with my best wishes. I'd love to see a good chunk of the money invested in a big brute of a CB.

Agree that time for him to go. Not sure if better than Moussa, for me he was total footballer-almost like a third centre half with corners and so composed on the ball, also able to bring others in in way Edouard doesn’t. . Ed has that beautiful composure in the box or on a run towards. I just can’t stand the attitude and I also think that he might stifle Kyogo. I do 100% agree though that I would love us to bring in a proper centre half, preferably someone seasoned with bit of experience.

On his day an unbelievable talent. Different player to Moussa so hard to compare but both supreme talents. Pity both saw us a stepping stone as both could have been legends.

Different strengths Chinks you're right but in terms of pure footballing skill and ability, I'd go for Eddy. Dembele was a powerhouse.

He stared to shine when mousa left imo. I don't think he's as gd as mousa different but not as tough as mousa which Eduard lacks.

If he starts the two of them tomorrow eddy has to be on the left and kyogo through the middle.
