I read a report that both us and the dark side are interested, usually when reports like that come out it's them that are signing the player and we get linked with him also just so they think they beat us to him.
There is no way we would go for a player that is 31 and pay over £7m.

he is rated at 8.5 mill that's just the papers putting a price on him no were does it say we have bid 8.5 mill. can see us bidding about 3 or 4 for him.

How long has he got left on contract and is he currently a 1st team regular does anyone know? As this could have a bearing on what he’s actually worth especially if 31.

Lapadula has 2 years left on his contract.
He scored 8 league goals in 37 league games for his club last season, who were relegated from Serie A.
Incredibly for a 31 year old he was available for every league match.
The only league game he wasn’t involved in was because he never came off the bench.
