I was never happy with Gordon as a replacement for Forster and I'm not convinced Bain is better either. So I should be happy with this signing, right? It's what has happened to Forster in that time that concerns me.

Southampton have allegedly included the option to recall Forster in January if they want to. It's unlikely to happen unless they suffer 'keeper injuries of their own but it's there nonetheless. Will it be a problem for us? Possibly not but it could leave us vulnerable at an important stage of the season. HH.
