Looks like another target not joining us.
Raheem Harper about to sign new contract at West Brom.
I just do not understand why our club always takes longer than any other club in these situations. We had the boy up as a guest and given tour of Celtic Park, surely THAT was the time to sign him on a pre contract, another potential young star lost to us because of Lawwell.

I would say that even people who give good reliable information or gossip don’t know the half of what’s going on. To us mere supporters the information we get fed is ultimately useless until the pen leaves the paper on the contract. Trying to find reason within information littered within misinformation and gossip is a mugs game. Until there is total transparency - which there never will be - we will just get fed the dross and think about what could have been when in reality it was probably never on the cards in the first place.

What about last couple of windows though? We have lost better players than we have signed. Our best piece of business was signing a guy we already had on loan while losing Dembele who was miles better. Comper In Boyata and Armstrong out and the usual project signings and short term loan deals.
18 months ago that mob never had a single player who could get into our squad let alone our team.
As it stands there’s little between GKs we have a better LB they have a better RB. Again CB wise with Boyata and Benkovic gone there’s not much in it. Middle to front we are still better but Rogic and Sinclair have went backwards whereas Davis and Arfield have made them not as far behind. Up top that wee person Alfredo scored more than French Eddy and he isn’t even their penalty taker. Hopefully Griffiths gets back to his best and their back up Defoe isn’t too bad.
Yeah we are better but nowhere near where we were 3 windows ago, we need quality 1st team players a RB, a CB and a fresh player in CM get Ntcham Tae **** he only plays when he can be arsed not loyal enough always trying to get a move.
Let’s all praise the board coz they didn’t sign an injured player, aye right they paraded him with the top after telling him they won’t be held to ransom and that deal was dead and that fud Kennedy saying we won’t lose any sleep over it before it was back on.

1 French Eddy scored once in 4 old firms, Morelos 0 in 2 and a quarter. He scored in Europa qualifiers and group stage, away to Sheep and Kilmarnock and was suspended in their only trip to Hampden.

2 Outscoring their midfield hardly means he’s not a worse player, their striker and RB both outscored him.

3 Their RB has had most assists in the league for 2 consecutive seasons and had more than both our full backs and Sinclair put together. I agreed he’s Pish defensively but in a league where most teams sit in it’s a good asset to have when a full back creates goals.

4 Iv no idea of boy from Oldhams ability but Ajer is ok except V them and our best 2 have left. Katic looked half decent when they went 6 or 7 games without conceding at end of season when he played.

5 Turnbull has been pictured with a Celtic top on despite never signing and Lennon commented on it on Celtic TV.
They did publicly discuss transfer negotiations though during the actual negotiations and allowed our assistant to discuss deal when we assumed he chose Norwich but deal hadn’t been concluded.

6 Fair enough it’s a different role Hammond has, still doesn’t change the fact it’s an embarrassing short term 1. When have you ever heard of a club hiring a head of recruitment on such a short temporary basis.

7 How you don’t think an important document should be left in a position where anyone who shouldn’t see it can is not the fault of the people involved is actually laughable and shows how blinded you are by the board in general. Get it filed safely under lock and key or destroyed properly if not required don’t stick it in a black bin bag! Again how frequently do you hear of this happening at any other club?

To all posters above, i think the problem is we all know we need a 2 LB's if Tierney is going, a RB, a Centre Back and 1 forward.
We all want transfers coming in, the money is there, are we waiting for Tierney to go before we sign anyone. If i were Tierney i wouldn't sign for Arsenal, they are a club whose owner is spending their cash in the USA and they will win nothing in the foreseeable future.

I guess I am one of the faithful through and through brigade and I won't make any apologies for that. I will support anyone who maanages the club, runs the club or plays for the club unless it is blatently clear they are incapable. Lawell is a business man and a very capable businessman and thank God he is at the helm and not Dodgy Dave.

Some people I suppose would do anything to geet to ten in a row and do well in Europe even iff that means overspending and finding ourselves in administration. In my life I have had many dependencies or addictions if you like but somehow I was fortunate enough to escape the one of gambling. If people want to gamble with their own money, fine, but please don't gamble with the clubs money and future.

To think we re miles ahead of them is delusional. In the league they beat us twice out of 4games and were 9points behind, miles ahead? Aye right. Oh we played rubbish I’ll hear and still won league, did that mob not play rubbish too with all their draws. Now we are going to play a different way with new manager and players while their squad is pretty settled with better backup players being added than they had before, their youth setup has be dramatically changed from top to bottom and their youths won everything bar the Glasgow cup last season.

We ve lost 2first team players and potentially another 2, that’s 4starters out from the 11. So far they’ve not lost one first team starter. And how we getting on with signings lately?
