Good, let's hope that's the end of the interest in Fletcher! The guy has always been well over priced & over-rated IMO. Never seen the appeal in him in the first place. there's far better out there for that kind of money!

Wonder how many of the fletcher haters wer moaning about Peter Lawell not backing starchan by signing yes you guessed it fletcher
Monkeybhoy

Also glad we are not signing him. There was never any serious interest. It is all a distraction so we don't notice or the excuses are ready to cover the in fact no well known big player is going to be signed.I would prefer honest feedback. What about something like; We don't expect to sign anyone of note or spend any big money but we are always on the lookout for the right deal, but if that happens at all it should be a surprise and not the fact we did not bring in a big player. Why don't they just tell it like it is? Sopotcelt.

Dont think anyones a Fletcher hater Monkeybhoy, he just doesn't represent value for money anymore. he's coming up on 27 and after a contract will be in 30s. First time round he was 21 and had the potential to be sold on for a big profit as was subsequently proved twice.

Some fans need to make there mind up then keep hearing we should stop signing players for the future we want players that are ready now. 27

N fans didn't want to sign him back then because he would have a sell on value, if we would have spent the money on him we would have won league, that was the moan going around and still is to this day

9.) 25 Jan 2014
No doubt about it we'd ave won the league with him. I've said on here before WGS lost the respect of a lot of fans by not standing up to the board and insisting they paid the extra quarter million for him. The difference now is that he seems to be a bit more injury prone and as someone on here said last week do we really need someone who goes around filming themself spitting on people and posting it online.

Ur prob rite about a prob wouldn't want him now not because he wasn't good enough. If he was good enough back then for me he's got better with more experience playing at highest level
