With our front line a little on the lean side would anybody give bangura another chance to prove he can do a job for us . Think he is due back in jan and is still a celtic player looked very good playing against us, a blind man can see we need something else up front?

It opens up a can of worms when we mention Balde, but I'd rather have Bangura than that! Hope the big man proves me wrong.
£1.8mil for a project (Balde) £2/2.2mil for an almost guaranteed starter (Pukki) don't get it?
Some teams just aren't suited to different players, maybe that was part of Banguras down fall? Given what we have now, he would be in with a chance!

Tony Watt should be re-called as soon as viably possible and Balde needs to be trusted with more than 3 minutes here and there as it is making NL look like he has bought a taller, naffer Bangura!

Balde deserves his chance before bangura playing they two together is like playing stokes and pukki far to similar should be one of the hold up players and one of the runners as for watt not sure about him to be honest he just doesn't seem to me what we need but only because he's playing out in the wing

Don't really see how we can have so many negative thoughts on Balde he hasn't played bar 5mins at the end of couple of games.
Bangura done alright against us not gr8 would give him a shot as he is our player but will lennon

I think he should be given a chance just for his hold up play alone against celtic he was strong up front on his own gave our defenders a real hard time with good movement and aggressive front play balde looks good too but who says you only have to have one big strong lad . Pukki and stokes if he stays are ball players and that's fine but both of them get dragged out and deep in most games and we end up with nothing up front . just a thought.

On the Balde points. We are nearly in November and he has played barely a few minutes of competitive football in any competition - even when we have been stretched to the limit with injuries and needing goals in tight games.
So it's not the support that's not giving him a chance - it's the manager who paid £1.8M for him.

Wouldn't bring bangura back, could he play champions league football anyway? Agree balde hasn't been given a chance seems to be getting judged on a few minutes of football.

Yip, I'd take Bangura back and give him a decent run out in a big european game or two. That sort of hold up / link up play that he did so well against us in the qualifying would really help our transitions - somewhat as Hooper was able to.
I do want to see Balde start. As many have pointed out, it don't make sense to have a 1.8M prospect in a team of 3M starters (not, of course, that that is what we have).

Our forward line is poor stokes and puuki are same type of players and balde doesn't look good either, this is the manager and scouting system that got this wrong.we really have to get our finger out in this department

The thing with Balde is he is an absolute beast of a guy and he HAS scored a couple of goals already even with a few minutes of playing time. bangura has never scored competitively for us. I didn't hold much hope initially for the bigman but the tide is slowly turning. let's hope he keeps developing in the right direction. the next Drogba?lol
