Greg Taylor has reportedly now signed a pre contract with Dinamo zagbreb to join when his contract expires in the summer.

He plays the inverted fullback role very well.
Greg had a slow start to his Celtic career but he’s been brilliant for the last 4 seasons.
Overall Taylor was a great signing for Celtic.

Put his arse on the bench and let big Jeff play the rest of the season.

Great servant for us and top man on the dressing room.
If he wants to look after himself and family… all ok with me.
BR will play him right up to and including our last game this season.
It’s a pity he is leaving.
{Ed007's Note - Rodgers said today that Taylor hasn't signed for Dinamo Zagreb and that he's still hopeful that he'll stay.}

Fingers crossed.

I'd love Taylor to stay. Although as backup which he is too good for. Fantastic professional and excellant at domestic level but he is the one player that struggles most at the jump between domestic and euro competitions. We simply need to improve that position if we want to improve in europe.
I wouldn't blame him if he wanted to move on especially if he feels he will play less with KT coming in.

I agree DerryTim, I would keep Taylor but only as a backup. I just feel when we’re at full strength he’s always the weak link, and is badly exposed when up against better players in Europe. I see him more as Tony ralstons level, solid and dependable but we could do better as is the case with Johnston on the other side. I would love to keep him in the squad but I can’t see Celtic paying him what he wants if they’re paying KT a good wage and GT will be backup
I’m sure he’s a decent guy amongst the lads and a big personality inside the dressing room which will be a miss but at the end of the day if we are to improve we need to upgrade, if tierney can manage his fitness and injury issues and play to how we know he can he’s levels above Taylor.

Players like Taylor and Ralston are almost as important as a team’s very best players . We know we are in trouble this season as CCV continues to be crocked far more than we would like and we are replacing him with a left sided centre back, which causes trouble.
Ralston demonstrates his reliability as right back when he eases into RB position without causing much disruption. Taylor would do the same if and when
KT is first choice right back . History, although no indication of future shows KT breaking down a lot and Taylor would be perfect, but if he wants to go, we can’t stop him .
Wages in Croatia may not be much higher than he could get in Scotland, but I believe the cost of living is about 30% lower than UK.
