I have no idea where these leaks come from, as most clubs play their cards close to their chest and don't comment on 'other teams players'. However, Sevco SLY are now covering the Kyogo rumour to Man City and it seems to me there is a sudden eruption of rumours to unsettle our team and disrupt our progress. Or is that just me?

This transfer window has shown that Celtic have more than a few really good players that other clubs want.
Celtic have done really well getting these players on long term contracts.

Just looked at videos of the polish lad who plays in MLS we are supposedly interested in.
Looks a very good player, probably around the top of the players we are looking at and at 7 million a worthwhile investment.

Was thinking the same, Buzz. If Kyogo goes to Citeh, as I now expect he will, that positions us incredibly well for enticing ambitious players who aren't yet the full article or who come from relative obscurity. I (for one) think he's done more than enough to merit such a move; reminds me a little of Larsson going to Barca. We don't replace such players, contrary to the prevailing logic, so expect BR to use the opportunity to hone the profile of the front line after his fashion.

I have no idea how credible the transfer rumours of players in and out of the club are, it’s all beginning to drive me nuts if I am honest. However if the Kyogo to City rumour has traction and they make a realistic offer I don’t think our Board will be difficult to deal with as I don’t think BR is entirely convinced by Kyogo… his lack of physicality and limitations in holding the ball up and linking the play need to be acknowledged along side his obvious strengths.

He has probably been mentioned along with a few more players and our media have jumped on it as if they are buying him.
For City 20 million is nothing, they would splash that on a 29 year old but does he fit their style of football, I am not sure and would he go there knowing that he won't play a lot.
His wages would triple but he hates it when he is not playing for us, that would be his position with them, he won't replace Haaland or any of he forwards City already have.
I think he was probably mentioned after the friendly and the story has grown arms and legs.

There was a guy on ssb ( I know ) apparently speaking on behalf of city . Says its been going on since last week . City want an older 29 / 31 year old proven striker for the bench . The normally pay 15 mill just like alvarez who has just left for this type of player .
