Journalist Darren Witcoop stating that Adam Idah is heading back to us, anyone know if he's reliable?
I've never heard of him so I can't comment, but I'm guessing it's got as much truth as every other journalist that has said the same thing about Idah returning.
I think we're all baffled at how this summer has turned out, we might have a few weeks left to do business but to say it's been encouraging is an understatement.

I also read that article Mick and like you, I've never heard of him.
I'm hopeful we sign the Idah by the end of this window and as Norwich are selling other assets clearly if a price can be agreed they could well let him go.
I'd prefer the business was done ASAP as we need a 2nd striker.

Someone mentioned about Tom Cannon from Leicester coming here here too. They're linked with a loan for CF Fofana from Chelsea so that could free up Cannon for a loan. For 3rd choice back up I'm not against a loan in this instance.

ED, care to share? ? I understand deals take time but for some reason I don’t see Idah returning, This whole saga has the feel of Celtic playing lowball like they always do, the board are tighter than two coats of paint half the time. Hope I’m wrong on this though.
{Ed007's Note - If Celtic are the problem why has Idah taken the huff with Norwich, sounds like they are the ones causing the hold up and Idah & his agent have had enough - oh and again, the Celtic as a whole have nothing at all to do with transfer negotiations.

Ed, any firm rumours about CB or midfild player as looks more and more likely MOR's price might be met, whether he agrees to go, that's another matter, but a CB is a real requirement going into CL.

It has the same feeling as the Jota deal. The longer it went on, people started to write it off but it was always just a matter of time.

ED, I get your point. But why have Celtic reportedly only made one offer of around 4m plus, around a month ago? There’s been nothing mentioned of us going back in with another offer, no report from sky sports or any other reliable sources, so it’s not Norwich’s fault if they haven’t received a decent offer?

Since the 1990s, it has only ever been under Ange have we got transfers done without scrambling about like amateurs n the latter stages of every transfer window. So much for having things in place.

Point made ED, none of us know exactly what goes on and how much is exactly offered. I just feel is as a club have been a shambles this past year when it comes to improving the squad and the board have a lot to answer for, we’re heading backwards big time if we carry on like this.
