Apparently Oh has now been given the green light to travel to Belgium to complete his move to Genk for a fee of around 4.5m. I think there's definitely potential there with the lad but I just don't think he's able to cut it at Celtic and there's nothing wrong with that, it happens. If all goes well and he's away then that's 6m plus for him and haksabanovic, I know it's obviously easier said than done and negotiations can drag out but I would just offer 7m for Idah and make it an offer Norwich can't refuse, the big man has proved he's got it to play for us.
I know there's a limit we will go to and we had to offer low to begin with so we didn't shoot ourselves in the foot but imo he's worth it, and developed well under Rodger's he's got the potential to make us a profit in the future, I just really hope the rest of this window isn't the scattergun approach to signings last summer. Let's keep the faith.

Mick,
I hear what you're saying re big Idah.
An important factor is that Norwich have a new manager who initially wanted to assess his playing squad.
If rreports are accuatate Idah has made it clear he wants to leave Norwich hence he's been left out of their latest pre season game.
I'm confident he'll be a Celtic player very shortly and might even be on the plane to the U. S. A with the rest of the squad.
Keep the faith ?

Hopefully that’s true pedro, would love nothing more than a triple announcement next week of schmeichel, bernardo and idah, although I’ve got a feeling the idah deal might drag out a bit. Think the Norwich manager wants to keep him and take a look, possible give him a fresh start but if it’s true and idah has told them he wants the move I find it hard for Norwich to want to hold on to him if his head isn’t in it down there and we do put the 6-7m offer in, time will tell.
