There a report coming from Sweden, that Celtic are interested in 23 year old Montenegro player, Sead Haksabanovic who can play on both wings.
He is currently employed by Starfelt's old club ( never played together ) Rubin Kazan, who got relegated last season.
He left Russia when the war started and he played in Sweden for a few months but he hasn't played a competitive match since June.
Similar to Jordan Larsson with Spartak Moscow, he had until the end of June to terminate his contract with Rubin Kazan.
He must've declined the offer because the Swedish media, are writing that the youngster's contract doesn't expire until 2026,with the Russian club.

Not an expert bust surely economic sanctions would stop this from happening. I can’t see us being able to pay a transfer fee to a Russian club.

Don't get why we offered Forrest a new deal if we're still after another winger. We have Abada, Jota Forrest, Maeda as well as Johnston who'll likely leave before the window. Another winger will limit Forrests game time even more than it already is.

I think the way things have shaped up it seems we have Maeda and Jota in from the start with Abada and Forrest on the bench, but obviously with the amount of games we play and possible injury and absence, it would be practical to bring in another versatile player and also to replace MJ who seems to be surplus - for now?

He looks better than Forrest, maybe not when Forrest is on it, but that’s about 8 times a season and the reason he is on the bench.

Magicpole, I've always been JF's harshest critic. Finally we have brought in better players than him (why it took us so long I don't know) . The new signings goal record leaves a lot to be desired for me. However he could well be a better option.

I think we should wait until he’s signed as I read another 4 teams are n for him. Although that might just be the daily Ranger at it. For me he looks strong and technically good. As for Forrest, he has to step up and be consistent or he will never get a game. Paddy Roberts took his place for the same reason. Paddy was better and turned it on consistently. Always been James problem.
