Hi ED 007 glad your back with all the talk around Jota and CCV what is really going on with the contract situation?

Rumours are that both CCV and Jota have agreed to the permanent deals and the only thing to be finalised is the structure of the payment to Spurs.}

That looks like about a £12-15m layout Ed.
Realistically what kind of funds does the board have left for Ange do you think? I can't see them splurging the whole £35-40m CL money?
{Ed007's Note - It's not all paid out at once though, Stubbsie, we could be paying them up over the duration of their contract. Say Jota signs a 4 year deal, we could be paying that up at £1.5 million over the length of that or pay the balance if he is sold.
That's what the negotiations with Spurs is about, how they will receive their fee.}

Ed, with the loans being option to buy, would any sell-on fees be agreed at the same time as the permanent fees?

Ed do you think spurs will be dragging there heels on this with the hope they get a bigger transfer fee if the agreement period ends? i've read before spurs are very hard to do deals with.
{Ed007's Note - Daniel Levy is notoriously tough to deal with but if the rumours are right then the deal is as good as done. I'd ignore all the talk about deadlines etc on clauses.}

If there's a previously agreed fee which we've agreed to meet then Spurs wouldn't be in a position to drag anything out. The only delay could come from the player weighing up the move.
