Stephen Welsh is a great player at 21 years old and he will continue to get better.
He always has over 90 percent passing accuracy.
What’s the point in bringing our players through our youth system and then sell our best young players at the first opportunity.

Celtic are also really struggling for homegrown players for UEFA competitions. We will really struggle to find 4HG and 4 AT players for next season if we let Welsh go. Well, players of a decent enough level.

He's good enough all right personally prefer him to starfelt.

Mally completely agree. I like starfelt but he is still making the same mistakes over and over whereas Welsh is learning from his and becoming a better player each game he plays. Welsh needs to be kept I'll be disappointed if he is sold or even loaned out.

Tony been saying it to work mates for ages that Welsh for me is the better player, might not have the experience as starfelt but he seems far more comfortable with the way Ange wants to play.

We need better than both Welsh and especially Sterfelt. Neither is good enough if we really want to improve. If we are offered £5m with add ons and sell on then I would take it for Welsh. £1.5m is a joke. I was hoping our Iranian interest was a CB.
