It's been reported that All 4 of our Japanese stars will be called up for their next World Cup Qualifiers because it's looking like oversea players will be included in their squads.
They will then miss the Dundee Utd and Sevco matches.

Hopefully we have Giakoumakis back fit by then. He's not had a good start but if he can get a few games under his belt he would give us a really good presence up top for that game. If they could take just one out of Kyogo/ Maeda that would be lovely lol.

Terrible news if true. Not overly concerned with the new guys leaving as we've not seen them or counted on them yet. Losing Kyogo would be a big blow though. He's a big game player and still feel we would have won at Ibrox had he been played through the middle.

If our Japanese stars and Tom Rogic are called up for their countries, they will also miss our away trip to Hearts.

They will just have the games called off stating the g7 rule the same rule rangers used to call a game off with the mighty Arbroath many moons ago. We won’t have to play games as rules are rules.

Guys / Ed : can Celtic ask for games to be postponed due to players being away in International duty - As OTHER clubs have done?

07 Jan 2022 14:21:14
Big p ange has already stated no more games will be getting postponed.

07 Jan 2022 14:27:48
Was that just for C.V. players not being available?

07 Jan 2022 14:31:19
I’m sure the rules states that a club can only Request a postponement.
The final decision will lie with the SPFL board and they’ve already mentioned there’s No more available dates to fill in any rearranged games.
The rule doesn’t state that all 3 games need to be postponed and that means Celtic could only ask for the postponement of the Sevco match.
I don’t think Celtic will request a postponement because they know the SPFL will deny the request.

Think Ed mentioned that Ideguchi wouldn’t be going due to form and previous selection etc.

I was wondering if the report came from The Daily Ranger but I was wrong.
It came from the same rag that claims the might Sevco fought off a host of "Elite" European clubs to capture their latest loan signing and will also claim that they beat us to the signing of Soutter.
