Hearing that McKay has stepped down for personal reasons?

There will be plenty of rumours about Dom stepping down.
The one I’ve heard already is that his relationship with Dermot Desmond has completely broken down.
Due to Lawwell still working in the background.
Lawwell is supposed to have been given the job of appointing a DOF and Dom feels this should be his task.

This is so frustrating and weird at the same time. Back to the old pals act, we had someone that seemed to want to modernise the club. After a slowish start he did seem to do well with the window and bring in Ange. Could it have anything to do with strachan coming in, after saying in the summer he wouldn’t be . This whole affair stinks.
The chairman saying the new stand in, is a real team player. Is that a reference that McKay wasn’t pulling in the direction the tight fisted board wanted him to .

It's been confirmed. That's a shock!

Did you like that you Ed,
That was from my son and the time on that information was before 2pm today.
I hope Dom and everyone connected to him are okay.

Probably the last thing we needed this season as it's unsettling for the club again. Maybe he was out of his depth or maybe promises made by the board wasn't kept who knows we can only speculate, But at least he successfully overseen the massive rebuild that needed doing. I can only hope we don't go for another penny pinching CEO that doesn't want to spend the money to help us be competitive in Europe.

Sorry Mark, what's actually funny about this?

{Ed007's Note - All the silly conspiracy theories.}

10 Sep 2021 18:37:02
Well what’s the real story then ed? Don’t think it will effect us anyway as business is already done.

{Ed007's Note - I wouldn't like to speculate but remember we had to give the stock exchange 6 months notice that Lawwell was leaving, CEOs don't suddenly leave a job after a couple of months because they've spat the dummy out or because they're not getting their own way.
Of course it will affect us, CEO's don't only have a job to do during transfer windows. We're back to square one with the restructuring and modernisation of the Club.}

I think that it's because WGS has been trying to shove his copy of How to be a CEO for dummies, down McKays throat, I can think of nothing worse for an incoming CEO than having a wee know it all like Strachan, giving his unwanted and unneeded and totally inept advice, every minute, of every hour, of every day, that he happens to be at Parkhead, it would be enough to make anyone resign, (well that's my conspiracy theory ) ,

{Ed007's Note -McKay was all for WGS coming in - footballing people making footballing decisions.
We need to start a $hiteSherlockCSC with the nonsense flying about tonight.}

Did Shaun Connery no shae that ?.

11 Sep 2021 07:51:02
Maybe it actually is personal reasons he's left. Wish him well and hopefully he is okay. Literally no point speculating and anyone saying they know the reason this early on is talking out their arse.

11 Sep 2021 10:01:57
Yep, it might actually be a good decision for reasons unknown but just when you think a bit of stability this happens. Which ultimately means the decision makers have shown poor judgement again. Does anyone have any legitimate info?

Looks like our old board who got us into the rubbish we got into have ousted the guy trying to oust their ways. Not good for us or Ange. Detest our board of Torys.
