Rumour this morning is Leicester have had a bid accepted for Daka of Salzburg and Eddy is considering staying and leaving for free next season. Club was apparently holding out for £25m for him. If true this could massively affect our budget if we don't manage to get a fee for him in this window.

Keeping an unhappy player with one eye on the door cannot be a good thing - Eddy or whoever? - He showed a very poor attitude (along with others last season and obviously has no Celtic ambitions left; when you compare his form and work rate from his first two seasons, I think it tells a story and we should take the best offer that comes.

Get him away if he no want to be here. His attitude was terrible at times last year no want a repeat of that. Get a striker who is hungry for goals and wants to play for us.

If Eddy isn't willing to sign an extension, which by the looks of things he isn't. Then him leaving on a free simply can't be allowed to happen. It's bad enough that we'll have to accept a reduced fee for him. C.V. has destroyed whatever money we had in reserve, I'd imagine. We need money from his sale to help with the rebuild.

OAB, if it's his decision to stay then he'd have no reason to be unhappy. If he plays out his skin and is available on a free then he'd be incentivised to produce the goods big time. I still think he'll go though.

If eddy wants to stay and show the new manager what he can do then that’s fine by me. 9m for 4 or 5 years service isn’t a bad return. There’s also the chance he will be wanting to put himself in the shop window so to speak, so his agent can strike a better deal for him. Again we benefit. That said, if his attitude is like last season then punt him.

No chance do I want us to keep him just to help us in league when he signs pre contract half way through season and downs tools or at least in final month or 2 doesn’t want to risk getting injured and we get no fee for him!
Get him sold even if it’s only £15m it’s still a big addition to transfer funds.
I think he will go for somewhere between £15m and £20m if board seriously thinks we can get £25m with a year left on his contract they are taking a massive risk IMO.

Agree with Chris, why would Eddy stay for another season when he wanted any 12 months ago?
