I saw a rumour that we're interested in Kristijan Lovric. We were linked with him last season as well so it would definitely fall into the category of a "club signing" but probably one that would please a lot of the fans if the incoming manager was on board with it. He's 25, Croatian international, can play either wing and has excellent delivery from set pieces. He's been at Gorica for 3 seasons now so not the highest level but has 44 goals and 21 assists in 90 games which is impressive.

Definitely Magicpole but there's a difference between a Lawwell ego signing and taking advantage of prudent scouting. I'd be surprised if it came to anything but it's the sort of profile I'd love to see this summer; International players who are flying at their clubs, full of confidence and hungry to make the step up.

Kevbhoy, it's more media nonsense. We don't have a head of recruitment, we don't have a manager and our new CEO hasn't started yet so unless it's the tea lady doing the deal I wouldn't be getting too excited just now. HH.

It would definitely be a surprise if it happened Besty but, like I said, it's the type of player profile I'll be hoping for once the appropriate people are in place. We've had too many hopeful punts over the past few years.

I would like to thank surely Celtic have learned the lesson about signing players without the manager or perhaps the DoF okaying it and IF we do bring in a player without a manager being announced I would hope that we have some one sorted for the position as manager and he has agreed to the signing WE certainly don't want to go back to the PL mentality as far as players signing goes surely we have learned that lesson if nothing else.

I am not saying the story is true but just because Lawwell is leaving and Hammond has left, does not mean we have stopped looking at players and that we can't move for a player if the opportunity arises.

Exactly LAW. It would be crazy to throw months or years of scouting in the bin just because Nick Hammond has left. The key is making sure the new DOF or manager like what's presented to them rather than just charging on and signing players.

DC you are right. We don't know anything. Not a single thing. I was having a meltdown not because of the papers, but what came out of Strachan's mouth. That was clear it's not in the bag. As for anything else going on, you're right. We sometimes choose what we wish is true to believe. I think we all need to knock that on the head.
