Someone on here posted ages ago about Roy Hodson DOF and Eddie Howe Head Coach. Could this be a possibility?

Roy Hodgson is 73 years old and his C. Palace contract expires at the end of this season.
He was the manager of Neuchatel Xamax when they hammered Celtic 5-1 in Switzerland.

Heard from a few reports that Howe has met with Dermot Desmond and Dominic McKay in London for talks, not sure how much truth there is to it but usually when multiple sources announce advanced talks have taken place a deal has pretty much been agreed.

One of the blogs is saying that Kennedy and Strachan are staying on as coaches. Surely that cannot be true as we need a full clearout and let the new manager bring in the people he likes working with.

Also rumoured to want Richard Hughes in as dof, I would presume we would be quite far down that road already that it would be strange to totally change their view on who they want for that role.
I think someone like Harkin from city would have been a good fit for us as he works predominantly with the younger players coming through at City, so should have good contacts. As we all know we prob don’t have the financial clout to go and sign a team of ready made stars so will have to nurture and coach young talented players . I suppose we shall see within the next week either way. At least we are finally getting to hear the club are being proactive regarding a coach.
