He played well in the last derby but has been pish all season. Looked like he had promise at the start but for me Taylor is far better. Buzz should know the stats between both but I'm sure Laxalt has zero assists. Both him and Kenny can go back to their clubs next season.

His last game was a big improvement, but he has been inconsistent form when he arrived, gets caught out of position and gives away far too many free kicks. He's still quite young, maybe a better coach could improve his good qualities and sort out his weaknesses?

Taylor is not rubbish, he is a very good full back, Laxalt is not.

I think it all depends on money. Decent player but wouldn't want to pay anymore than £3m for him.

Been a season ticket holder for nearly 20 years pal. Laxalt is garbage and so is Taylor. Taylor is Aberdeen/ Hibs level - imagine settling for him in a celtic team. Sad state of affairs. Laxalt is a squad player at best.
Look across the city - put Taylor or Laxalt against Barassic and tell me they are good enough to challenge that mob?

I think if we get a good manager Laxalt coukd be good. Our whole defence is a shambles, if we bring in good defenders he will benefit. Taylor is ok, but ok isn't where we should be aiming for. He can't beat a man and his final ball is utterly woeful. We need better. Laxalt is much better. I don't think We will buy him but I wouldn't he unhappy if we did. You need to look at the lad in the context of playing under a manager who chopped and changed too much. Whose CB choice in Duffy shot us in the nut. A manager who knows what he's doing can get the best out if him. He was great against them and I wouldn't rewrite him off.
