Steve Clarke said that he will be taking a long holiday after the Euros and wants to lead Scotland to the World Cup in 2022.
He'd look silly if he backtracks on such an adamant statement.
He won't be coming to Celtic however I never thought he would anyway after what he said about protecting himself and his family from the sectarian hatred in Glasgow. HH.

Reports are suggest Celtic have made contact with Eddie Howe.
I never felt Eddie Howe was a possible target because he’s been available since last August.
If that’s the Celtic boards first choice, then why have they delayed the approach.
He should’ve been appointed last November at the latest.

Clarke also said later in the interview he’s looking forward to the Euros and then we’ll see what happens after that. He’s not going to come out in the press and say he’s interest in the Celtic job. I certainly didn’t take from his comments that he’s ruled himself out of the Celtic job.

Steve Clarke would be a horrendous Celtic manager. His style of football is terrible. Aye we’d be able to defend, but no one would pay to watch it. Scotland have been pretty crap under him as well. Struggled in those groups and won penalty shootouts. Overlooked by the relief of finally reaching a finals.

Celtic even spoke to strachen to ask him to take us over till the end of the season at the end of November.
