I don't think it will be long before the sack the board fans are back outside the stadium, calling for the heads of the other directors.
The longer they keep Lennon in charge the more irrate people are going to get and the more damage they are doing the club.

Buzz it will take fans a long time to forget this season. I blame the board for putting NL in this position where he needs to choose between the club and money. I do believe his legacy has been tarnished but if 3m is the reason we won't sack him worrying times are ahead. Massive down sizing will be on the way.

There is noway lennon will be getting 3m a season. He is on a 1yr rolling contract. Lennon will be on about 1-1.5mill a season in my opinion.

Agree with much of what's been posted regarding NL's position, the amount owed on his contract is almost immaterial, pay him off, draw a line under it amd move on.
Personally, I think if Neil had approached the board/ PL and come to a compromise agreement, he would have walked away with a lot more respect.

I wouldn't be against the idea of getting rid of Lennon now and having Kennedy see out the season until a replacement is found. He can't be any worse. He would probably resort back to having the team like it was under Rodgers.

@Marco and @BigBubs - no way is Lennon on anything close to 1.5 to 3 million. Rodgers was only on 2 million.
I remember when old Rangers died and a tribute act started up in their place. At the time McCoist was on 750k and Lennon was raging as it meant McCoist was getting paid more than him, despite managing in the lower echelons of football.
Now fast forward to the present, then my guess is Lennon will be lucky if he is on 1 million a season.

Well I'm sure it will cost the board more in season ticket sales, merchandise etc by keeping NL at the club, they are just making more fans angry, pay the man and get rid, he's the face of the demise, he is the one who will get the stick, the board won't they hide in the clouds counting their pots of gold, embarrassing, I honestly can't believe this is still dragging on.
