Few rumours i've heard is 4 or 5 more in with 2 or 3 leaving.

People might disagree but I honestly don't rate ajer and he's overrated in my opinion.
He's still a young guy learning the game but he's made over 100 appearances for us and still makes school boy errors at times, I really don't believe he's a centre half but possibly more a defensive mid.
His positioning and marking at times last season were dreadful and although he played well in certain games and got a winner at aberdeen, his carelessness at times mixed with julliens feminine to deal with physical strikers is an accident waiting to happen.
If we get a big offer I say take it and invest it smartly in 2 out and out centre halfs who will clear there lines, he only cost us 500k so doesn't owe us anything.

Ajer is only 22, but his transition to centre-back has been slow and I still think his talents are wasted in that role, simply because we persist in playing him on the left hand side, which is crazy.
He is athletic and very mobile and carries the ball very well out of defense and his run rampage down the right and brilliant finish at Pittodrie to win the game last season was a perfect example.

What two cbs. If AcMilan want Ajer I think I read somewhere they were offering two Cbs in exchange plus cash. 1 of the Cbs was an Argentinian International I would do that deal if it was true.

Ajer reminds me of Vertonghen in his style of play. He’s almost more defensive but he can also go forward. He might be better in browns role TBH but that would mean Cal Mac would have to sit if he did go on one of those runs.
My honest feeling is that Ajer needs a step up to kick on.

This day and age defenders need to keep the ball and start from the back but all too often all it does is put team mates under pressure and cause problems, a cb who just loves to defend is very rare these days and I do think Duffy falls into that category, no disrespect to anyone else but an Irish international who is a leader and voice at the back will know how much this season really means would do a job for us.
Ajer isn't suited to cb, I just don't agree with it. I think he is better suited as a defensive mid to play alongside mcgregor and to be honest he's exactly the type of player we've been missing at times in midfield, big strong athletic and powerful. Browns legs are starting to go and playing ajer there with another 2 centre backs in would be a very decent move in my opinion.

Maybe more suited to a Wanyama role. I know where you’re coming from but I think his main problem is playing on the left of a back 4. He’s right footes and struggles to turn, he is a top class prospect no doubt.

His problem is he's to nice and doesn't have that nasty streak all good cbs have but at rb or midfield he can do a job no doubt.

I disagree slightly. You can see in his emotions and body language that we loves to win. He celebrated a tackle against Sevco last season. Yes he's prone to mistakes and does get caught out but he's young. Interesting point about him playing in midfield.

I think jullien is more suited to playing on the left hand side of defence, either that then we should be going for somebody who is left footed and can provide balance.
If we managed to land Duffy and played him in the middle with elhamed and jullien either side of him with ajer into midfield I think a lot of fans would feel far more comfortable with us defending.
I'm not saying I would completely drop brown, the team would still need him against rangers and in Europe when his experience is crucial but in the league I think ajer and mcgregor in the middle would be well suited.

Would love Gyrano Kerk but can't see him being in our price range anymore plus I'm sure he ruled out going to Scotland and fancies a crack at England or Germany. Elis looks a decent powerful winger would be worth a punt.
