Lennon has said the deal for Forster is just about dead. He has said he won’t wait much longer for an answer. Let’s hope we have a new keeper in time for the start of the season.

Probably looking to provoke a reaction from Forster and manage our expectations a bit.
I hope that the best keeper available has already been spoken to and that deal can be done quickly
The very last thing we need is a free agent coming in short it fitness and straight into the starting XI in an important game.

The Forster thing is a big disappointment obviously for us and the players and management. we really need to get the finger out and bring a keeper in straight away! If Bain got injured and we go into the start of a season like this with a youngster in then that would be unforgivable! We all want Fraser back, but the time has come now to move on and get someone else in ASAP! Don’t blame the big man at all and he’s been a colossal for us, but enough is enough and we move on! This season is far to important for all this uncertainty! Especially with the Griffiths fiasco at the othe end of the pitch!
