ED007 apparently big Fraser was at Lennoxtown today, should we read anything into this, maybe another loan deal on the cards?

{Ed007's Note - His loan deal runs until the end of June and as he wouldn't have been allowed to travel south during the lockdown he's probably back to get his health/fitness checks done like the rest of the squad.}

Does anyone know if Elyounoussi was there as well then? Surely hisbloan deal would also be end of June.

{Ed007's Note - Elyounoussi's loan ended on May 31st.}

Cheers Ed, hopefully we can get him back. Before his injury he was unplayable.

{Ed007's Note - If he hadn't got injured I'm sure he would have been a contender for POTY, Buster. I was really excited that we had got him on loan and I'd be happy if we could get him on another loan or even better as part of any deal for Ntcham.}

exactly the player we need takes us to another level the guy is class.

I think he is class Ed. Hopefully something can be sorted.

I'd be sad to see Ntcham leave, he is a baller on his day.

If it was up to me I'd tell all key players they are going nowhere until the end of next season.

{Ed007's Note - Unless Ntcham has changed his mind he'll be looking to move this summer. He's also in the same contract situation as Edouard with two years to go on his present deal so if he stays on his transfer value will drop a lot over the next year.}

What would u say would be a fair deal for forster and moi to come in and ntcham to go. I would swap ntcham for forster and take moi on loan for a year free of charge. Sound reasonable?

13 Jun 2020 09:28:39
Would be good to get done. Ntcham is worth far more than Forster in my opinion. Money wise anyway. We aren't a club who would swap a sellable asset for someone with no resale value. Maybe 8m plus forster on loan for Ntcham.

{Ed007's Note - I think £8 -£10 million + Forster on a permanent deal would be a better deal, if it was only a loan I'd looking for £12 - £15 million in cash.}

Don't think we would get any more than 10m for ntcham in the current circumstances, he's a talented player yes but he looks as if his mind is elsewhere and will want to move on, and let's face it it's much harder to replace forster than it is to replace ntcham.

We might not get re sale value on forster that's granted, but with his ability and presence there's a very good chance he'll be a massive boost to get us back into the champions league which as a result will bring in the big bucks.

I've mentioned it previously on here that if finance allowed the best case scenario for us would be to get him on loan for another season and sign him permanently next year when he has a year left on his deal, he's got at least another good 5 years left in him.

{Ed007's Note - What current circumstances?}

13 Jun 2020 21:18:17
The circumstances of the current market, where finances are tight and players values won't be as high as they usually are. That's what I mean when I say we would be lucky to get any more than 10m for ntcham just now with 2 years left on his deal, do you honestly think southampton or anybody else for that matter will pay over that for someone who's been in and out of the team for us?

{Ed007's Note - Why are finances tight - what has has happened that will have any serious affect on the Pub League's finances that come from their TV money?}

14 Jun 2020 00:17:14
It's not just about Tv money though is it? There's a general misconception that TV money down south is the saving grace and as long as there's tv deals teams will funds to splash, if tv money is so secure and they make enough of it, why did liverpool recently opt out of paying timo werners release clause, why have man Utd and spurs taken out loans if they have this TV money to rely on?

I'm not an expert but the point I'm making as due to the effect of this C.V. and the millions lost due to gate receipts, teams are probably less likely to buy players and pay the money if it can't be justified, every single players value is likely to take a drop which is the point I'm trying to make in saying we will be lucky to get over 10m for ntcham, even though i do think he's worth more in this pub league.
