With KT looking at going for £25 million, good chance Sinclair will be away for £3 million, Lille apparently sniffing around jozo and always a possibility of something happening with ntcham. That £28 million along with £20 million for dembele, £7 million for VVD move to Liverpool, Armstrong £7 million move last year, that’s serious money been brought into the club over two summer windows. Yes we bought edouard, bought shved, bought Jullien, Bolingoli and Elhamed but you’d like to think there’s a huge amount of cash now there for Lennon to really go and strengthen this team. We’ve just released 3 strip sales, sold out season tickets again, not to mention a possibility of champions league football. Yes I know we’ve invested in the disco lights, the pitch etc but this window wether people think it had to happen or not, we’ve lost lustig, boyata, KT and looking like Sinclair, all first team players.

I can't believe we haven't bought in decent reinforcements when lennon knew the positions, we left our £7mill man on the bench, boli his name must of come out of a lucky bag. Now with kt and Scotty possibly leaving it leaves us up rubbish creak without a paddle. I know we have till the 2nd of September but we could be out of the champions league by then and it's to late. We must show serious intent in getting top class players in. HH.

With kt away and Sinclair probably going, we are definitely weaker than last season, slightly worrying times for me. I think Lennie needs his head checking if he really expects to be given all the kt transfer money off peter.
If we get past Cluj, after last night I can’t see us getting past Prague with that squad. They will tear us apart at the back, the other day it was a 7 million pound player to replace kt. Now he’s leaving it will probably be Taylor from Lille for a million.
As long as peter gets his bonus, that’s the main thing.

Morgan, Hayes, MJ and Shved combined will be lucky to match Sinclairs goals/ assists over a season. Like him or loathe him - he scored goals.

Unfortunately the predictable downsizing is in full swing from Rodgers to the players that have left ie Dembele, Armstrong, Tierney the list goes on the Celtic board have decided to sell or move on the Crown Jewels and replace them with far cheaper inferior replacements. It’s the typical Celtic cycle of pushing the boat out for a while and then majorly downsizing. Celtic so we are told are a progressive club looking to improve every year but I think it only seems to be the fans that feel that way.

Not completely true Franny, from the days of having Armstrong in the team I think mcgregor and Christie are actually better players.
However, the signings we have made I still stick by have been progressive. Boli is an improvement on izzy of recent, more pace, more influence going forward. Boli needs more positional and tactical sense.
Big jullien has full key assets. From what I've seen which unfortunately isn't a lot. Seems like he's going to be a decent signing. I think is likely going to be an upgrade in that position (but not vvd) but better than boyata.
Elhamed, I thoughts been decent so far. Quick enough to create attacks, calm on the ball. Probably not the greatest defender, but quick enough to get back and make it difficult for attackers to get past him and progress on goal without the harassment.
We definitely need a proper left back. We ain't going to sign the quality of KT, that's why the bhoy is 25million. But someone half decent, if not CL quality definitely a Europa league level player.
I'd also want another player that can change games. Even if that's a loan, someone in the paddy Roberts mould. I think we'll need that for this season. I thought yesterday's game, we were to wide open, and lacked that spark, Forrest tried but another one of those types of players on the other wing makes our attacks less predictable and more influential.
We need the checkbook to be opened for the next 3 weeks to make sure we have a good a chance for the CL groups and try retain our trebles.

KT missed almost half our games last season so how anyone can say we can't do without him or are downsizing is beyond me. He's young and he's ambitious and there is nothing wrong with that. He'll come to realise in time that he misses Celtic more than we miss him. Good luck to him whatever happens.
