It's on BBC as well now. I live in Sheffield and been to a few games he looks a good player. Is attacking so would offer a threat down the right similar to kt does on the left.

Would he be in addition to, or instead of O’Donnell? Glad we are trying to 2 right backs if that's the case. We definitely need 2. But I’d have hoped that one would have had a better pedigree than these 2. Quite a drop from Castagne. We just buying them in hope that we get lucky and at least one doesn’t turn out to be another Jack Hendry?

Boldock would be a good signing. Was first team last year with Sheffield United who got 2nd in championship.

Yes but he’s now being deemed not good enough for Sheff Utd, but apparently still good enough for us? I set my sights higher than us signing players not good enough for the EPL.

I live in Sheffield I have friends that are United fans they all rate him and have said he will be first team next year if he stays. Don't know where you got that from LM67.

There’s not a single EPL player that you can buy for £2-3m if their club want to keep them. He has a year left so they are open to offers. From what I’ve read he is capable going forward but not the best defensively. They want to buy a more defensive minded right back as they know they’ll be under the cosh constantly next season.
Do you really think an Englishman whose just reached the EPL for the first time would want to swap first team EPL football for the SPL? No chance. He’ll only come if he isn’t in their plans. Which appears to be the case.

LM67 - Sinclair was deemed not good enough for Villa, came here and ran riot. Pukki was deemed not good enough for us and he's fired Norwich into the EPL. Sometimes players are a much better fit at a certain club.

Aye boldock played very good in a competitive league and won promotion to the most competitive league in the world
I’d be happy with him at right back he’s not someone who sprung to mind but I think he’s good business at 26 with only a year on his contract, id get him on a 4year contract he isn’t injury prone either and O’Donnell would be a good back up to him
Harper in cm and turnball as attack mid looks to be who we are going for in the middle and looks like barker from Man City winger too definitely don’t need a winger in my opinion but he’s young and looks good on the cheap why not? A centre back and striker to follow, I don’t think we are going to spend a lot of money we are looking for bargains in a over inflated market, like someone posted before British players have served Lennon well in the past so why not just can’t wait for the season to start and see how wee get of the blocks, if we spend big it will be on cb and striker I think.

Given the silly money being thrown around in the EPL it would be a surprise if we signed him.
