Remember during the VVD to Liverpool saga there was lots of speculation about whether we were due 10% of the fee or the profits. I don't know if these things actually get confirmed other than being declared in the accounts.

Ed has said a couple of times that there isn't.
{Ed007's Note - The wording on the SE release says we received a "record single amount" and at the time there was no reports of any add-ons. Supposing we have a sell-on clause of 10%, that means that we didn't receive a "record single amount" of 22 million Euros for Dembele, it would need to be included in the Stock Exchange release.
Remember too that it would only be 10% of any profit Lyon made, so 22 million off the rumoured 50 million Euros fee leaves 28 million Euros would give us a 'windfall' of 2.8 million Euros.
Lawwell was raging with Dembele and his people so went in playing hardball during negotiations with Lyon and was adamant that there would be no structured deal like a normal transfer and that that he wanted every penny paid up front, a sell-on clause isn't getting everything paid up front and it wouldn't be a "record single amount".}

Still don't understand why they gave into Dembelle, they should have said no, think Moussa, is a good Pro, and would have implied himself to the team, if they had just said, is ok we will sell you in the summer, but is no point crying over spilt milk, as they say, is done.
