Tough one on Thurs they're sitting top of their own league and the Europa league although dropped points the other day.

Midtjylland are showing this season it's possible to punch above your weight in Europe.
According to Salary Sport they won have 5 players who are on a 5 figure wage bracket per week compared to 16 Celtic players.
It's only a guideline because I'm not sure how accurate Salary Sport are with those figures.

We have more players who are on more money than them? So not sure where ambition comes into it? Just a negative post for the sake of it weejoe or didn't you do your due diligence on both clubs top earners?

Is it safe to have a dominant winning
Manager, who recycles squad and signings according to his style every few years as we lose them to England, or try and find club identity, club playing style, club ambition, similar to Dutch club or likes of Brugge that managers need to fit our club and way of working, and the risk that trying to implement this could bring incase it fails, sevco example with decision makers like them well not having backing and seen as failures by fans.

A decent manager scouts their opposition and sets his team up accordingly. If the opposition changes formation/ tactics during the game then a decent manager reacts and adjust his if need be. An elite manager doesn't play a 433 and passes it about the back then tries it the next game if it doesn't work.
An elite manager will have an expert knowledge of numerous formations and have a plan a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h etc etc etc.
