If Rodger's was offered the Spurs job would you take Ange back?

I can't see another manager out there at the moment who is available and proven at our level.

Of course!

I think the Spurs fans would be spoiled if BR is appointed. But would they be happy to see another Celtic manager come in just after they had appointed the previous one? What does that say about Celtic having two managers being appointed Spurs manager one after the other?

I wouldn’t complain if Brendan and Ange constantly followed each other with 3 year contracts.
It would give them the option of trying different projects outwith Celtic.

It speaks volumes of the set - up of any non top 5 league team in France that a team who has had their first European success from a manager whose only experience of managing in Europe was 2 years at Celtic .
Our Board has a big decision to make, most successful managers have about 3 / 4 successful years . BR has had 5 successful yrs out of 7 . Celtic Board has to decide whether they go all in with BR or decide to let him leave whilst at the top . Our continued success may come with Celtic appointing a top manager .

Would have Ange over Brendan any day of the week.

BR said he will not leave b4 his contract ends unless he's sacked and we've just finished a successful season and DD won't sack him. a would b happy with Ange back tho.

Spurs seem keen on the Brentford boss, however BR will leave at some time and I will worry about that when the time comes.
Ange saw Celtic as a stepping stone and BR was also enticed a few years ago to follow the golden brick road. Both know the club very well and have worked under our various restraints and handicaps, so like Buzz mentioned, they could rotate for years to come. If not there's always Neil Lennon!

How would Ange see Celtic as a stepping stone when he was busy managing half ways around the world and he certainly wouldn’t have been aware how he could use Celtic to fast track to greatness . He certainly didn’t know when contemplating joining us, because if he was starting off with a decent line of career path drawn, he wouldn’t have went to Spurs as most knew it was a poisoned chalice .

Was the football over the last few months of Ange's reign not a bit stale?

07 Jun 2025 06:05:36
Ange played exciting football but was hopeless in Europe. We don't qualify out groups last season with Ange. BR is better developing players and has the nonce to change for Europe.

It's a nice debate but as others have said BR will be here next season.

It's a NO from me.

☘️ ? ☘️.

He saw Celtic as a stepping stone, because as everyone (except a few) knew he was looking elsewhere as early as Jan/ Feb in his final season to move to the EPL.
