Sad state of affairs for sure JFP.
I have to say I haven’t voted for circa 25 Years which is a shame…… but having had the misfortune of dealing with politicians over the years of all parties, I could not bring myself to back any of them and wasn’t minded to turn up and spoil my paper.
I know a lot politicians are good and well intended but when you get to the small rump running parties and government…. It’s not good or even decent.
As a natural nationalist, I would single out the SNP and the “Greens” as the worst of the lot. A small cabal of self interest with no economic or strategic vision.
I had decent hopes for this labour government but their priorities seemed to be to target the elderly and poorest in society. I accept they raised the minimum wage.
Hopefully we will see a better and more decent band of politicians rising from our younger people soon. This is our only hope.

MSP's got 20k pay increase, while everyone else got around 2 to 3%. SNP fairly party of the people.
They are all out for themselves, unfortunately nothing we do will change that.

Being asked to vote for a political party is like being asked, what is your favourite flavour of jobby?
Starmer was hanging about with Rupert Murdoch and the Israeli lobby, told me everything I needed to know about him. That is not to mention how he back stabbed Corbyn on the behest of his Israeli buddies, who did not want the leader of the opposition calling out their actions against the Palestinians.
The sad reality is I don't see the status quo changing, as the large corporations, oligarchs and the rest of the power elite have their hands on all the levers of powers. So even if we did manage to elect someone who is prepared to fight them, the power elite would use all their power, wealth and influence to make sure they didn't succeed. This would cause the economy to crash and mean that voters wouldn't vote for them out next time around.
Hugo Chavez and Venezuela are a good example of what happens if you get someone for the people in charge. Their country gets ruined economically and the CIA try to remove you by a coup. Obviously it would be slightly different in the UK.

Corbyn was our only hope. But people are to easily lied too by our media.

Don't think Corbyn gave a rats ass about Scotland.

Interestingly Corbyn won more votes than starmer at their respective elections…. Reform “ what won it” for Starmer.
