What is the problem with Kenny?, is he injured, it was obvious once again today that Idah just can't play in a fast moving attack, as the centre forward, his reactions and his ball control just aren't fast enough or good enough, as was shown on three or four occasions today, give Kenny a chance to see what he can do .

Yeah I don’t get it either, brining McCowan on to play up front yesterday was a kick in the teeth to the boy. No reason he shouldn’t have got the last 10 mins.

I am sure BR sees Kenny nearly everyday at training and is in a better position than any of us to know Kenny’s capabilities compared to Idah
Managers don’t become successful and win doubles and trebles on a regular basis by picking their pets and not picking players they don’t like for non football related reasons.

I reckon Kenny would have went back on loan if we had signed another striker in January. I also reckon he would have played more if maeda had not done so well or had gotten injured.

He's not good enough or he'd be involved.

I think Mallythetally 2 hit the nail on the head, he hasn’t shown the improvement that BR hoped for and isn’t good enough .
The decision to go out on loan wouldn’t have been Kenny’s and obviously Wee Joe is right, but BR said this week that we couldn’t get a good enough striker to sign . I take it that we had scouted maybe 3-4 who were good enough but none wanted to come to us in January.

Maybe it's a case of, Idah is showing in training what he is capable of doing in training, and BR thinks we spent £9 on yer man, he must be able to reproduce it in a real match, and Kenny cost peanuts, so obviously he is not as good as Idah, which from the little I have seen of Kenny, does not seem to be true, just give the guy a full match to see what he can do, in a competitive situation, remember the greatest manager we ever had was going to put LG out on loan because he didn't think he was good enough but somebody got injured and rest is history.

Aindoh, you have hit the nail on the head, you say you have seen little of Kenny , that should mean u know little about Kenny compared to Idah . If u seen plenty of both of the you could judge their comparable ability .
I have to say with Idah playing our attack was superb for the. first half on Saturday, maybe the best they played all season . Maybe Idah was attracting more attention from Killie defenders that our amateur eyes couldn’t see and maybe he was creating space for others .
After the poor result the previous week I am sure BR put out the best team he had to win comfortably and take some easily dissatisfied fans off his back.
